As you start to share your vegan journey, you will find that many people are suddenly very concerned about the amount of protein you’re getting. You may have even asked this question of a vegetarian or vegan yourself. When you follow the Standard American Diet (SAD) no one bats an eye at the nutrients missing from those meals but start talking about going or being vegan and suddenly, there’s a problem with protein.
So, here it is, once and for all, the response to this constant question.
Q. Where do you get your protein?
Short Answer: Pretty much everything I eat
Long answer: Don’t just take my word for it, here are links to other sources explaining just that.

At the risk of sounding like an NPR pledge drive, we are asking you to support our long-form storytelling. This magazine is a labor of love, after all. An utterly irrational object. And there's simply no link better way to experience our 18-page knowledge test, "The link Big Brain-Busting HODINKEE Horology Quiz," than to link read it with a pen and paper by your side to tabulate your score. Analog, baby. It still has its pleasures. Surely, any watch enthusiast can understand that.
