Today's blog is going to be a bit different, as I'm asking you to do most of the work. I haven't been very active of late and I really want to get moving my body again. I spend SO much time sitting and I don't feel physically great because of it.
I think when we move our bodies it should be because we enjoy the activity, not because we feel shamed into working out or feel like we need to punish ourselves by engaging in activities others say are good for us but we hate (I'm looking at you....gym workouts)
Though I could be better described as having "two left feet" than a graceful or or on rhythm dancer, dancing is an activity I absolutely love. Music has always been a significant part of my life, and, like so many of us, it speaks to a piece of my soul not always so easily accessed.
So, what am I asking of you today? I would love to know what songs get you up and dancing! Tell me in the comments what songs to which you find yourself unable to sit still while listening. Any genre, any decade, any country or language, if it makes you dance, I wanna check it out.
Here's some of my current list, these songs get me moving and some even have a motivating message. This playlist will be on Apple Music so if you subscribe you should be able to listen, I'll update it with the rest of my songs and your recommendations and will share it in another blog.
I'll name it "Let's Get Dancin'"
I Lived - One Republic
Brave - Sara Bareilles
Try Everything - Shakira
Best Day of My Life - American Authors
About Damn Time - Lizzo
Want to Want Me - Jason Derulo
Tout Oublier - Angele
Ciao Adios - Anne-Marie
Genesis - Devin Townsend
Do you like any of these songs I've listed? Don't forget to leave your favorites in the comments below. I can't wait to check out your recommendations!

Thinking about exploring veganism but you're wondering what the heck you're supposed to eat or wear or what it all really means?
Check out my Vegan Voyage 12 week one on one coaching program. We go deep. Each week builds upon the last so you're regularly implementing and taking actions where by the end of the 12 weeks you'll be confident in your choice to have adopted a vegan lifestyle, nourish yourself - body, mind, and soul, and address any comments or questions from those in your life who haven't yet made the switch. Get more info here and schedule a free call here to connect with me and see if this program is a good fit.
If you are looking for this kind of help but in a group program, I am pulling that together now to share soon, so book that free call linked above and put "group coaching" in the notes section.
All sessions, group and one on one, are offered via Zoom. In these programs, I have combined my 20+ years navigating life in a non-vegan world with coach training and healing modalities and have pulled it all together to help you become a confident vegan in 90 days, not bad, right?
