The Finish Line

Day 30! Wow, I did it! This is my 3rd time participating in the Ultimate Blog Challenge (UBC) but this is the first time I've completed it. What a day! I'm so proud of myself and fellow challenge-mates!

You learn a lot about yourself writing a blog a day for 30 days. Who woulda thought? Most surprising, I learned that I like blogging. Not because I dislike writing, I actually love it, I just didn't think I would enjoy it like this. I plan to keep it up, though not every day.

I also learned that I still have some work to do around time management. I schedule some things, but not others, but there also wasn't much of a pattern to it. So, in May, I'm going to focus on scheduling things like working on blogs and podcasts the same way I would a client call. I like to think of myself as a free spirit living with her own strict rules. So, I dislike the idea and act of scheduling everything but scheduling everything actually sets my soul at ease. Wish me luck!

My favorite part of the UBC has been the interaction. I'm super thankful to each and every reader and those who not only read my blog but engaged with me through the comments. It's been so fun learning about you. I do hope you'll check in to see what I'm up to and keep commenting!

In closing, I'll say it again. I'm super proud of myself for finishing the challenge, I think we don't celebrate ourselves enough for accomplishments like this. I encourage you to think about something you recently accomplished but just kind of let it go and celebrate yourself now! You don't have to go big - a nice bath, a new book, watch your favorite movie...but feel how good it feels to be proud of yourself, that's the most important part.
