Another month of the great UBC (Ultimate Blog Challenge) is upon us and I set forth again with great aspirations and hopes to complete a full month of blogging once per day. If you'd like to write more often you can still sign up! It's also free! Sign up here: Ultimate Blog Challenge
A little bit witchy....I love October, even this year, when there is no October baseball to be enjoyed (learn about my love for the New York Mets here and here.)
My witchy practices are ongoing throughout the year but October is a time when I am even more intentional about it. So, one of the things I'm planning to do with the blog challenge is share some of that side of myself. This isn't the first time, you can find previous blogs on Samhain (there are 4! here's one: Samhain - The Witches' New Year), moon water and dream journals as well by clicking these links or searching my website for witchy adjacent words.
I'll share some of my practices, some information or history, meditations...etc. Feel free to ask questions in the comments, maybe the question and response will become a blog entry!
A little bit podcasty....Did You Bring the Hummus Season 6 is going strong and should finish up by early November, there will be a brief break before Season 7 launches. I'll be highlighting current guests and previous ones, topics, and looking to the future. As of today I have published 117 episodes so if you like a show you can binge, here ya go! You can find Did You Bring the Hummus on your favorite podcast app and right here on my website.
I am an avid reader and am also working my way through a certification course so I'll probably write a bit about that too. Finally, I would like to get better at cooking videos. My That Vegan Morning Show co-host Jennifer Shlomovich of The Confident Vegan really loves them and our viewers seem to as well so maybe I'll do some practice videos here.
On a personal note, I am making it a point to find beauty in every single day, so, as I discover a poem, art, take a photo of one of the cats who live here with me...I'll likely share that too.
Wow, that turned Into quite a list of maybes! We'll see how It goes!
To my fellow UBCers, I'm excited to read what you're writing!!
Stay connected!!

Hi Kimberly,
I'm in the fall UBC, and doing a certification course as well - to become a SoulCollage facilitator!
This morning, I had a coaching session as a prerequisite fulfillment, and made a card (5x8") for the Teacher Archetype! Love my cards, ad learning to listen to their oracular voices.
I'll be making cards for a couple of significant and recurring dreams - images offer such lovely ways to connect to intuition and gain insight.

Hi - Stopping by from the UBC. Nicely done post. I feel you about baseball, my Giants are out of it too.
