Author, podcaster, yogi, vegan, activist, and so much more. Victoria Moran is a household name in the vegan community and rightfully so. Through her work Victoria has inspired readers, listeners, and viewers to make significant and lasting change in their lives, Impacting the animals, their own health, and the health of the planet.
I have had the privilege of getting to know Victoria a little bit over the last few years and have had the opportunity to see how she gives of herself to her students, readers, listeners, and fellow vegans so fully. It is an incredible thing to witness. When so much of our world as a whole seems to be getting smaller and turning inward/isolating it is refreshing to witness so much togetherness.
Victoria pulls us into her world through the incredible podcast, Main Street Vegan, her books, the latest of which called Age Like a Yogi is phenomenal. (I'm not even the target audience, but, why not start now?) Victoria also creates the most incredible community and learning space with her Main Street Vegan Academy, of which both me and co-host Jen are recent grads.
I'm sure there's no doubt in your mind that we were thrilled when Victoria agreed to join us for an episode of TVMS. We talk to Victoria about our experiences during and since the Main Street Vegan Academy training and find out more about what lead her to create the program in the first place.
We also chat about her in the works feature film, Miss Liberty, and how you can help make it happen. Victoria has been vegan for more than 40 years so we also get into how the movement has changed, what has surprised her, and where she sees it going.
If you are a religious or spiritual person looking to connect with others while celebrating veganism, you don't want to miss out on the Compassion Consortium, an online spirituality monthly meeting that was created and founded by Victoria, her husband Rev. William Melton, and Rev. Sarah Bowen. I am a member and I absolutely love It, I hope to see you there!
Click the video below to tune in live at 7:00am ET via YouTube or catch the replay and get involved in the conversation. If you have questions for Victoria join us live and ask!
You can learn more about all of Victoria's incredible work on her website Main Street Vegan.
