Here we are again!

Wow, it's already time for another Ultimate Blog Challenge! It feels like I just finished the January Challenge! What I love about the UBC is that I know I'll get some writing done at least 4 times a year. After each UBC, I am convinced that I will keep blogging, but, it hasn't happened that way yet, maybe this one will be the catalyst! I also really appreciate the interaction between the bloggers. We read each others work and leave comments to help boost engagement, we share blogs that we find meaningful, helpful, or interesting, driving traffic to each others sites. It's a really great place to hang for a month each quarter. There is still time to sign up, it's free! Just click the link in the first sentence and you'll go right to the sign up page.

In the first blog of the challenge I like to tell you what I'm going to talk about and/or a little bit about me. Click here to read my first UBC blog ever, which includes somethings about me. Some of the items could use an update, like number 5, we live with 4 cats now (our latest addition is named Teddy).

So, what am I going to talk about this month? Of course, we're going to talk about Earth Day. As I do each April, we'll have Earth Week where I'll post something related to our environment for the week leading up to and including Earth Day. If you'd like to get a jump on some Earth Day info check out some of my Earth Week Blogs from the past. If you want to read all of the blogs about Earth Day just type Earth Day into the search bar above the blog and it will pull them all up for you.

I am also going to share some of the new things I am learning and working on here at Did You Bring the Hummus. Some of you may already know that I was training as a Vegan Hospitality Consultant. I graduated from the program yesterday and am actively working on my offerings and other supplemental programs that allow me to use the knowledge I've just gained plus a lot of my other skills to provide value and help share the vegan message. To learn more, check out my new Vegan Hospitality Page on my website. This month, I'll also be peppering in some recipes, tips, and podcast related blogs.

Oh yeah, have I not mentioned the podcast yet?! Season 5 launches on Earth Day, Monday, April 22nd. I already have so many amazing guests lined up for this season, I know you're going to love it.

To my fellow returning UBCers and all of the new challenge participants, I'm excited to see what you're getting up to and to my readers, thanks for checking out what I'm doing here. I hope to see you in the comments. (Quick note about leaving comments, through Wix - my hosting platform - you either create a free account so you have a clickable profile and can leave comments under your name or you can comment as a guest, if you want me to know you left a comment but are commenting as a guest please sign your name. Thanks!)

Say hello in the comments and tell me what you're most excited for this month!

It's great to see you back in the challenge! You helped me stay motivated in January even if I stopped in the middle of the month. These quarterly challenges definitely help with the content I strive to create.

Happy blogging!
