Meditation is a pretty regular practice for me but sitting here with my MacBook I thought I would look for one to help with the grief. Here are the two I tried out, I am sharing them because I think they might be helpful to others.
This first one was okay, easy to follow, his voice is nice.
I stopped this one about 7 minutes in because this one has you visualizing that the person you are missing comes to visit and sits at your table in your minds eye. While I absolutely love this idea, I am in no way ready for that at this point.
A friend and colleague of mine, Nancy Loeffler, also wrote a book about grief after having to navigate losing her teenage daughter in an accident. I haven't read it yet, but I'm going to. You can check it out here.
If you've found meditations, books, blogs...etc. anything that has helped you in your time of grief, please share in the comments so others may benefit too.
That is wonderful, that there are guided meditations designed to help with grief. I hope you and anyone who finds this post, finds them helpful.
Sadly, I know many people this may help these days. I have a few friends who have just lost a loved one. Brenda Marie
Kimberly, thank you. Fortunately I currently don't "need" this, but one day I may. Will save the link for this day. Tamara
This is just what I needed this morning. I love the background music, so peaceful like the soft rain that is falling here now. Thank you for sharing.
